No Affiliation with TikTok or ByteDance

TikTokParrot.com is an independent, educational blog about African grey parrots. This website is not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to TikTok, ByteDance Ltd., or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates.

“TikTok” is a registered trademark of ByteDance Ltd. All trademarks, service marks, trade names, and logos referenced on this website remain the property of their respective owners. This site claims no ownership of, or rights to, the TikTok name or brand, and does not use TikTok’s logo, branding, fonts, colors, or visual identity in any form.

Why This Domain Exists — The Story Behind the Name

This domain was chosen for one deeply personal reason: it carries the name of my beloved African grey parrot.

For years, my African grey was known online by the username @tiktokparrot. Through that account, his personality reached a wide audience and he became known and loved by many people who followed his journey. Sadly, my parrot has since passed away.

After his passing, I registered TikTokParrot.com in his memory — using the same name he was known by — and turned it into an informative resource dedicated to helping other African grey owners. The name honors him; it was never selected to imitate, reference, exploit, or benefit from the TikTok platform or the ByteDance brand in any way.

The Purpose of This Website

This blog exists to serve the African grey parrot community. Its goals are entirely educational and community-focused:

  • To share accurate, helpful information about African grey parrot care, behavior, health, and wellbeing.
  • To raise awareness about the responsibilities of owning these highly intelligent birds.
  • To help other owners learn from my own experiences — including the mistakes I made — so they can give their parrots better, healthier, and happier lives.
  • To preserve the memory of a parrot who meant a great deal to me and to those who followed him.

Every article on this site is written for African grey parrot owners and enthusiasts. The content has nothing to do with the TikTok application, social media services, or short-form video, and makes no attempt to trade on, dilute, or confuse anyone regarding the TikTok brand.

Good-Faith Use of the Domain Name

This domain has been owned and operated in good faith and used continuously for its stated educational purpose for several years. The name is used descriptively and nominatively — solely because it was my parrot’s established online identity — and not as a trademark, brand, or source identifier competing with or referencing ByteDance’s products or services.

There is no likelihood of confusion between this parrot-care blog and the TikTok platform: the two operate in entirely unrelated fields, serve entirely different audiences, and share no commercial overlap.

Advertising

This website may display general third-party advertisements (such as Google AdSense) to help offset the modest costs of hosting and maintaining the site. Any such advertising is served automatically based on standard advertising networks and site content; it is in no way connected to, derived from, or dependent upon the TikTok platform or the ByteDance brand. Revenue, where any exists, comes solely from readers engaging with independent parrot-related content.
